The Stanford POD is located at the beautiful campus of Stanford University in Santa Clara County. We have created a partnership to allow more opportunity for Creators to serve and showcase their brand.
If you are thinking of applying to Stanford POD, please keep in mind that there are a couple of requirements we have to follow. This POD is different from others around the Bay Area. The set up changes because of the picnic tables that are offered to students.
Please go through the following steps when serving at the Stanford POD
1. Parking the Food Truck
Please park the truck on the side of the street in front of the picnic tables. See photo for example. If creators are not parked correctly, Stanford University will Issue you a $68 fine. This fine is not associated with Off The Grid, but will be issued on site by Stanford University's Public Safety.
2. The Setup
All three trash cans should be placed next to the picnic tables. This is very important as the partnership requires us to enforce this setup with all Creators. If reported by Stanford you are missing trash bins, this will count as a violation
3. Take a Photo of the Setup
With your phone, take a photo of the setup. You will need to upload this photo at the end of the shift and attach to the Sales Form (link below). Failure to do so will result in a violation and a fee of $25.
4. Submit your sales
At the end of the shift, please click on this link to enter sales and upload photo of the setup. Failure to do so will result in a violation and a fee of $25
Why this is important?
Stanford has given Off the Grid the opportunity to activate a lunch Market in their property. It is crucial that we meet their standards to continue operating at this POD and available for Creators.
Violations can go up to $50 failure to report any of the data posted above.
*repeat offenders will be subjected to suspension from attending this POD for at least a month
